Forum FZ Series Drum Set

The Pearl Forum Series shells are 6-ply (7.5mm) and made of Poplar utilizing Pearl’s Superior Shell Technology (S.S.T.). The new Forum FZ includes the Pearl’s Integrated Suspension System(I.S.S.) tom mounting system. The Forum Series is available in four finishes, Smokey Chrome, Jet Black, Pure White and Red Wine.

 

Pearl Forum Snare Drum

Accompanying each Pearl Forum drumset is a 100% matching poplar snare drum. Also included is the FZH 790 Series complete hardware kit containing the following basic components:

• Snare Stand (S-790)
• Boom Cymbal Stand (B-790)
• Straight Cymbal Stand (C-790)
• Hi-Hat Stand (H-790)
• Throne (D-790)

The incorporated CXP-3 Cymbal Pack features:

1. 14 inch Hi-Hats
2. 20 in Ride
3. 16″ Crash

The Forum also comes in two configurations, the FZH 725 which includes a 22in bass drum and larger tom pack and the FZH 705D with a 20″X18″ bass and standard toms.

 

Pearl Forum Series Review & Price

The Peal Forum Series drums can be purchased brand new for between $500 and $800 depending on the configuration. This is an extremely cheap price for a complete drum set.

While a drummer with some experience will probably want to upgrade the snare, cymbals and possibly the hardware, the set is a great start for a beginning drummer or one on a budget.

The Pearl Forum FZ drum set offers a lot of value for the price.
