The Catalina Club Jazz comes in a pre-configured shell pack that includes a 14×18 bass drum, an 8×12 mounted tom, a 14×14 floor tom and a 5×14 snare. Additional drums are available for purchase including a 7×10 and 8×12 mounted tom and a larger 18×24 kick.

With an average online price of $650, the Catalina Club Jazz is a solid intermediate drum kit for Jazz drummers. With traditional be bop sizes and a retro look, the Club Jazz has the style and sound that gigging jazz drummers look for. Paired with some good cymbals, this set is perfect for playing out or practice.

Gretsch Catalina Club Rock Configurations and Specifications

The Catalina Club Rock comes in a pre-configured shell pack that includes a 18×24 bass drum, a 9×13 mounted tom, a 16×16 floor tom and a 6.5×14 snare. The mounted tom can be swapped for a smaller 8×12 size. The Club Rock is only available in Gretsch’s Gloss Ebony Lacquer (GE) finish.

At a price tag of $800 for the shell pack the Club Rock falls into the beginner to intermediate drum set range. With an undrilled kick drum and larger tom sizes, the Club Rock as a deep and warm sound perfect for classic rock drumming. If a four piece set will fit your needs, you should seriously consider the Club Rock kit.

The Catalina Club Mod comes in two pre-configured shell packs The CC-MO24 includes a 20×22 bass drum, an 8×12 mounted tom, a 14×16 floor tom and a 6.5×14 snare. The CC-MO012T includes a 20×20 bass drum, an 8×12 mounted tom, a 12×14 floor tom and a 6×13 snare. Additional drums are available for purchase including a 7×10 mounted tom.
