The DTX 560 is an electronic set that integrates higher end drum and cymbal pads that provide a hybrid acoustic-electronic touch and feel.

The Yamaha DTX 560K is a comprehensive electronic drum set that is part of the highly popular DTX 500 series that has six other drum models. All drum pads in the 560 are DTX-PADs that offer a more realistic stick response. This includes a snare drum that includes 3 zone sounds (head, rimshot and cross-stick).

Also included are 3-zone cymbals with edge, bow and cup sounds as well as a 2 zone hi-hat trigger with open and close configurations. Also contained in the 560K set is the 500 series drum module RS500 rack system. Kick pad is incorporated in set however bass drum pedal is not included.

Yamaha DTX560K Price & Review

Priced at around $1,800 the DTX 560K provides a full hybrid acoustic-electronic set that is great for both serious practicing and live performances at a reasonable price. The included setup can also be upgraded to expand the kit by four more pads, or broken down and integrated with an acoustic drum setup.

The high end preexisting setup with the flexibility to tear down or build up reaches drummers at all levels and many genres. The included DTX 500 series module also features a wide array of realistic drums and percussion sounds that gives the user the ability to play a variety of styles.
